Snapshot finding

Accessible digital and non-digital options received eight responses, clearer status, decisions and next steps seven, faster completion five, and fewer errors with an appeal route none. Status clarity led the preserved 13-response snapshot by six to five; accessibility now leads by eight to seven. A one-response lead can change with the next response.

Limitations

Twenty voluntary responses are neither representative public opinion nor an evaluation of a municipal AI pilot. Zero responses for errors and appeals does not mean those safeguards are unimportant.

PUBLIC RECORD

Facts drawn from official public records and linked to the sources below.

  1. 01

The Municipality's 2025 Information Technology and Transformation asset plan identifies online public-service gaps and says public-facing websites and applications must meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA, with regular self-audits using third-party tools. It sets an accessibility control, not a published before-and-after service outcome.

INTELLISYNC VIEW

This narrow lead makes the delivery test concrete: modernization should prove that residents can complete the same service through accessible digital and non-digital routes, understand its status, and reach a person or appeal when something goes wrong. The poll cannot validate a technology choice by itself.

ACCOUNTABILITY QUESTION

For the first service modernized, what baseline and follow-up will show whether both digital and non-digital users can complete it accessibly?
